Dear You,
I don’t know your name, your story, or what today feels like for you, but I do know this: if you’re still here reading this, you’ve already made it through every hard day you thought you couldn’t survive. That matters more than you probably give yourself credit for.
Depression has a way of making everything feel heavier. Even the smallest tasks take all your strength. It can blur your sense of who you are and convince you that things won’t get better. But those thoughts aren’t facts, even when they feel convincing. They’re part of what you’re going through, not a reflection of your worth.
There is still space in this world for your voice, your presence, your story. Even if you feel invisible right now, you are not insignificant. The way you laugh, the way you think, the way you care. Those things are real, and they matter.
You don’t have to fix everything at once. You don’t have to suddenly feel okay. Just focus on the next small step, getting through the next hour, the next conversation, the next breath. That’s enough.
And even if it doesn’t feel like it, you’re not alone in this. There are people who understand, who care, and who would want to sit beside you in the middle of it, not just when things are easy.
I’m really glad you’re still here.
Sincerely,
Someone who believes in you
