Write a letter

Writing a letter to someone looking for a reason to stay can feel hard at first, so follow these simple steps to write your letter to someone:

1) Choose a topic to write a letter about. This can be suicide, grief, loneliness, anxiety, low mood or general.

2) Start by introducing yourself. A good question to start by answering is why are you writing this letter? Have you been through a similar experience? Letters are anonymous, but that doesn’t mean you can’t share that you’re a real person.

3) Validate their experience, offer kindness, connection and any advice you might have.

4) Warmly close the letter with a message you want them to remember and press submit. Your letter will then be reviewed and edited by a trained moderator, so don’t worry about making it perfect.
