Dear stranger,
Let me start this with I love you. I don’t know you, but I love you. I know I love you because you came to this site, to give it a try, and to make the effort. To do even that is so brave and takes so much courage.
Life can be so brutal and so ugly so many times. It can feel like you are in a constant cycle of being beaten down, with no way out. But the truth is if you let them through, there are small moments of light in each day. You won’t always be able to see them and that’s ok, I have had many days where I missed them.
But when I look back I see them now, and I’m glad that I have the ability to reflect back. The thing with life is we are made to feel like we aren’t doing enough, we aren’t working hard enough, we aren’t successful enough. But that’s not true.
To get up each day and fight the battles facing you even when you don’t want to. Makes you successful. It makes you strong.
I hope you know that even if it feels like no one is with you, I am. As are many others. We may not know each other, but we can understand each others struggles. We are united in that way.
I love you. Please remember that. Please remember there is always another way. There are small glimpses of hope in each day. You may not see them now, but they are there and they will make themselves known one way or another. You are amazing and I need you here. We all do.
