Hey Friend,
If you’re reading this, it might mean you’re in a dark place. I’ve been in some dark places myself. I can’t demand you stay. No one can.
But I can tell you why I’m still here and maybe it will work for you as well. When I thought it was time, I remembered my favorite band was playing in my hometown the following week. I figured I’d really like to see them one last time, so I held on for a week.
The show was amazing. Then, my brothers birthday was a few days later. I wanted to see him celebrate one more journey around the sun, so I held on for another few days. Then, before I knew it, it was Monday, and the local bar down the street has Taco Tuesdays, so another day it was.
Because. Tacos. Wouldn’t you know it, a week or so later was MY birthday, so I figured adding another full year to my timeline would just make sense. And then. And then. And then. I realized it could wait until”tomorrow”. Every day.
Tomorrow. Today, I have found enough reasons to fill a bit more of my timeline. A few more reasons to hold off for a bunch of tomorrows. Find something for tomorrow.
Stick around for tomorrow. You might just find there are plenty of reasons to stay. I hope the tick marks of days counted continues to grow. Love ya!
